In the event that there are one or two upsets this weekend....and if the Committee goes with one or even two loss teams over ND as the 4th.....and uses ND's lack of playing in a conference championship game as a factor in their decision....well it will interesting what the powers of ND think. Of course if we end up going to a 12 team model they wont care- but the 8 team models with 5-6 automatics could put maximum pressure on them.
Also interesting how the Kelly situation impacts their conference affiliation decision making, if at all.
